Renault Twingo (2026): Innenraum und Kofferraum im Detail

Der neue Renault Twingo kehrt beim Design und in der Philosophie in die 1990er-Jahre zurück. Nun komplett elektrisch, zitiert der in Slowenien gebaute kleine Franzose den Ur-Twingo von 1993. Und zwar nicht nur optisch, sondern auch beim Innenraum, der geräumiger ist, als man es von einem Fahrzeug mit weniger als 3,80 Meter Länge erwarten würde.


Der Twingo Electric verfügt über einen 60 kW starken Frontantrieb und eine 27,5 kWh große LFP-Batterie. Seine WLTP-Reichweite beträgt bis zu 263 Kilometer. Mit einer Länge von 3,79 Meter bleibt er im Segment der Kleinstwagen. Die Preise sollen unter 20.000 Euro liegen. Der Bestellstart ist für Januar vorgesehen, die Auslieferung beginnt im März 2026.

<h2>Renault Twingo E-Tech Electric: Cockpit</h2>

Das Armaturenbrett des neuen Twingo ist einfach, aber modern. Eine horizontale Entwicklung erhöht das Gefühl der Breite. Das digitale 7-Zoll-Instrumentenpanel und der 10,1-Zoll-Touchscreen sind bei allen Versionen serienmäßig, ein seltenes Merkmal im A-Segment.


Das Multimediasystem nutzt Android Automotive OS mit Google Maps, Assistant und dem integrierten Route Planner, der automatisch die bequemsten Ladestopps entlang der Strecke plant. Smartphone-Konnektivität und Over-the-Air-Updates fehlen natürlich nicht.


Hinter dem Lenkrad befinden sich Schaltwippen zur Einstellung der Rekuperation auf mehreren Ebenen bis hin zum One Pedal Drive-Modus, der es ermöglicht, praktisch nur mit dem Gaspedal zu fahren.

<h2>Renault Twingo E-Tech Electric: Materialien</h2>

Die verwendeten Materialien im Innenraum des Renault sind weitestgehend harte Kunststoffe, schließlich muss der Basispreis von unter 20.000 Euro irgendwo herkommen. Aber die Lebhaftigkeit der Farben und Texturen macht den Mangel an weichen Oberflächen mehr als wett.

</section>Die Kunststoffe haben matte Oberflächen von guter Qualität, während die Türverkleidungen und die Beifahrerseite des Armaturenbretts farbige Einsätze aufweisen, die die schwarze Monotonie durchbrechen. Sie orientieren sich an der jeweiligen Karosseriefarbe. Die Lackierungen sind an das Urmodell angelehnt, ein direktes Zitat ist der runde Knopf für den Warnblinker.

Anders als sein Vorfahr von 1993 ist der neue Twingo ein Fünftürer. Und zwar mit praktischen Bügeltürgriffen überall. Wie schon beim direkten Vorgänger sind die hinteren Fenster nur ausstellbar.


Für ein Stadtauto ist das Raumangebot im 2026er-Twingo überraschend gut. Auch Personen über 1,80 Meter sitzen hinten bequem, mit nur wenigen Zentimetern zwischen Kopf und Decke und ausreichend Platz für die Knie. Das Fehlen des Mitteltunnels am Boden erhöht das Gefühl der Geräumigkeit. Dieser Aspekt kann durch die längs verschiebbare Rückbank noch vergrößert werden.

</section>Der Kofferraum mit 360 Liter gehört zu den geräumigsten seiner Kategorie (allerdings nur dann, wenn die Rücksitze maximal nach vorne geschoben werden) und kann durch das Umklappen der Rücksitze über 1.000 Liter fassen. Diese können um 17 cm verschoben werden, um den Raum zu modifizieren, mit Rückenlehnen, die in drei Neigungen verstellbar sind.


Es gibt auch einen doppelten Boden von 50 Liter Kapazität, um das Ladekabel oder kleinere Gegenstände zu verstauen. Bei Bedarf kann auch der Vordersitz umgeklappt werden, um bis zu zwei Meter lange Gegenstände zu transportieren. Jedoch ergibt sich beim Umlegen der Rücksitze keine ebene Fläche.
